The Fellow program recognizes Academy Members who demonstrate advanced expertise and significant practical experience in the total estate planning, trust, tax planning, guardianship, probate and estate administration fields.

This event marked the 15-year anniversary of the Academy, coincidentally; Mr. Deason is a founding member of the Academy. The Academy is the premier national educational organization that promotes excellence in estate planning by providing member attorneys with research and vital updates in estate, tax and business planning. A requirement of the Academy membership is to complete a minimum of 36 continuing legal education hours specifically in estate, tax, probate or elder law planning each year.
